Bennett (from her first husband)...part of story below Her son Benjamin Boak married Fredonia Turner, Aug. 12, 1856. Of their children there was Susie, who married Barney Wilkerson, Lavonia, Mrs. Solomon Lowery, who died young leaving two daughters, May and Eva. Anne, Mrs. Will Moon, Oxford, Lela, Mrs. Walter Hudson, who also died young leaving a son named Bill for his grandfather. Lela willed her son to her sister Nonnie whose fiancée had recently died, and Walter Hudson a few years later married Nonnie and came in possession of his son again. Then there is Margie, Mrs. Lee Bishop, and Alice who did not marry. Tom married Mapy Yarbrough. She was named for her grandmothers, Mary, Anne, Parthenia, M. A. P. and Yarbrough gave the Y. |
